Whether you are employed, self-employed or a jobseeker, you may be looking for a training course to improve your skills or take your career in a new direction. Various bodies can help you find your way in the Brussels-Capital Region.

For French speakers

For Dutch speakers

  • AHOVOS (Agency for Higher Education, Adult Education and Study Grants) is an agency set up by the Flemish Government. It supports vocational training through life-long learning. The website of AHOVOS, www.wordwatjewil.be (NL), provides a great deal of information on continuing education in Dutch in Brussels.
  • You can also participate in various training courses run by the VDAB (Flemish Employment and Vocational Training Service).
    The VDAB (NL) is in charge of training Dutch-speaking jobseekers and workers in the Brussels-Capital Region.
  • Syntra Brussels (Flemish Agency for Entrepreneur Training) offers a large range of training courses for adults and businesses (NL).
