By public transport
Making public transport more attractive remains the Brussels Government’s main priority. The Brussels-Capital Region runs a comprehensive public transport network, comprising trains, trams, buses and the metro. You are always sure of reaching your destination by one or more of these modes, perhaps in combination with the bike. Often quicker than if you had taken the car!

The Brussels public transport network is managed by four different companies:
