Brussels Housing

Brussels Housing is charged  with offering access to quality housing to everyone, through the following activities:

  • Supporting the regional government's decisions where the implementation of its housing policy is concerned;
  • Granting allowances to private individuals under certain conditions;
  • Detecting and fighting against unoccupied dwellings based on complaints filed by municipalities or accredited associations;
  • Informing the general public through a Housing Information Centre;
  • Granting subsidies to certain housing operators;
  • Guaranteeing respect for the standards set by the Brussels Housing Code.


Brussels Housing carries out its tasks with:
